This warranty is provided by Jungle Flooring and applies exclusively to the original purchaser; it is non-transferable.
Important:
Jungle Flooring warrants that its SPC flooring is free of visual defects for the period specified in this warranty. Customers or installers should carefully inspect each plank before installation. The warranty does not cover any claims related to visible defects once the floor has been installed. Jungle Flooring reserves the right to verify defects through technical analysis or inspection. In cases of manufacturing defects, Jungle Flooring will replace the affected materials. Otherwise, Jungle Flooring reserves the right to deny claims against this warranty.
WHAT IS COVERED?
a. Manufacturing Defects
Jungle Flooring warrants that the flooring will not delaminate and will be free from manufacturing defects, including issues related to dimensions, thickness, and plank stability, in accordance with ASTM F3261 standards.
b. Wear Warranty
Jungle flooring provides limited lifetime warranty for residential and 15 years for commercial. Scratches, indentations, or reductions in gloss level are not considered wear. "Wear through" is defined as the wear due to light to moderate foot traffic that does not penetrate through to the pattern layer of the product.
c. Waterproof
Jungle Flooring's vinyl planks are water-resistant and will not buckle or lose integrity when exposed to normal household spills (e.g., water, wine, cleansers without harsh chemicals). While the planks are 100% waterproof, household spills should be cleaned up promptly to prevent mold and mildew.
d. Installation
Planks must be installed properly in accordance with Jungle Flooring’s installation instructions available at www.jungleflooring.com/support/installation. Key considerations include:
-
Maintaining humidity levels between 30% – 55%, temperatures between 15°C – 30°C, pH levels from 7-9, and ensuring subfloor flatness within 4.8mm (3/16”) over 3m (9.86ft).
-
Allowing a 12mm (15/32”) space along walls and fixed objects for expansion in higher temperatures, ensuring no grout is left along the wall.
-
Avoiding the use of nails or glue to fix the planks.
-
Ensuring room lengths do not exceed 10m (32.8ft).
Any issues arising from improper installation are not covered under this warranty.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED?
-
Visible manufacturing defects after installation (e.g., dimension, thickness, color variations).
-
Damage caused by accidents, fire, burns, or flooding.
-
Indentations, scratches, and damage to click joints caused by pets, high heels, golf shoes, rolling loads, wheelchairs, or furniture without proper floor protectors.
-
Scratches resulting from moving heavy appliances without felt pads or plywood panels.
-
Loss of finish gloss or color over time, especially when exposed directly to sunlight.
-
Damage due to improper installation, including:
-
Subfloor not meeting specified requirements (e.g., flatness, firmness, moisture, pH).
-
Inadequate acclimation of flooring (less than 48 hours).
-
Use of non-recommended sealers or hammers.
-
Fixing planks with nails.
-
Installing cabinets on top of the flooring.
-
-
Flooring installed on a concrete subfloor without a 6-mil moisture barrier (note: moisture barriers are not required for wood floors).
-
Installation over radiant floor heating systems with surface temperatures exceeding 85°F (29.8°C).
-
Damage caused by additional underlayment for pre-attached flooring or unsuitable subfloors.
-
Chips, warps, buckles, or cracks resulting from inadequate expansion spaces, unstable subfloors, improper flooring acclimation, or poor maintenance.
-
Issues due to excessive moisture, mildew, alkaline substances, or hydrostatic pressure.
-
Damage from using non-recommended floor care products or strong chemicals.
-
Flooring installed outdoors or in areas frequently exposed to water (e.g., swimming pools, bathrooms).
-
Installation of vinyl planks with thickness and dimensions unsuitable for the intended use. For example:
-
Core thicknesses of 3.5mm, 4mm, or 4.5mm are not recommended for public areas like restaurants or schools.
-
Vinyl flooring is not recommended for large areas or high-traffic zones such as hotel lobbies, hallways, sports stadiums, or school halls.
